Do preferences for drug therapy differ in breast cancer patients with early versus metastatic disease?

In our systematic review, we found that survival was prioritised over potential side effects, regardless of the stage. Therefore, discussions about benefits and risks should be included in shared decision making to increase patient involvement and improve adherence.
