Summary

The Institute of Pathology supports research projects of the CCC Mainfranken in a collaborative manner with the following methods:
Tissue-based morphological and immunohistochemical methods on fresh frozen and formalin fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues, construction of tissue microarrays (TMAs), electron microscopy, confocal laser scanning microscopy and fluorescence in situ-hybridization (FISH).
