Scientific Focus

Digital applications in healthcare with a focus on mobile health (mHealth)

As a doctoral student and research associate at the University and University Hospital of Würzburg, I focus on the development of innovative mobile health (mHealth) solutions. With in-depth computer science skills (M.Sc. and B.Sc. from the University of Ulm), I specialize in integrating digital health technologies into clinical practice and improving patient care through Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) and Just-in-Time Adaptive Interventions (JITAI).

My main projects include mobile health applications for mental and physical health issues, such as psychotherapy (Intersession), stress management (TrackYourStress), and tinnitus support (UNITI, TrackYourTinnitus), as well as platforms for real-time health monitoring. I am also involved in BETTER-CARE, a project for personalized breast cancer follow-up care. I'm currently working on the mobile apps for the ePro-Schools project, which focuses on nutrition and physical health among adolescents; BackUp, an app to relieve back pain; and PCOR-MII, a gamification-based adherence study.

My mission is to drive innovation in healthcare through technology, improving the way we manage and improve health outcomes.

Let's connect and shape the future of healthcare technology together.
