Main Projects

Musculoskeletal diseases are the leading cause of patient disability and account for a big fraction of all chronic conditions. Furthermore, the economic impact of these conditions is staggering due to the overall ageing of the society.

The main scope of the Department of Musculoskeletal Tissue Regeneration is prevention of musculoskeletal degeneration at the stage of “point of return” by strengthening the tissue regenerative capacity as well as developing achievable biological replacements.
