The Musculoskeletal Center Würzburg (MCW) is an association of 20 clinics of the University Hospital Würzburg and chairs of the university for the care of musculoskeletal diseases and injuries. The MCW efficiently connects existing facilities with the aim of improving the quality of care for affected patients. In addition to the interdisciplinary care of patients according to the very latest standards, the central concern of the alliance in the MCW is interdisciplinary and cross-faculty basic research with a strong translational orientation.
