TRANSIT-Stroke - Trans Regional Network for stroke intervention with telemedicine

Status:Ongoing since October 2014

TRANSIT-Stroke is a telemedicine network located in northwest-Bavaria aiming to improve the acute stroke care. Additionally, the secondary prevention – that means all activities to avoid another stroke – is optimized within the network. The care situation after stroke will be analyzed and the benefit of tele medical care is scientifically monitored by the Institute of Clinical Epidemiology and Biometry.
