Core Unit Systems Medicine
The Core Unit Systems Medicine is a joint institution of the Medical Faculty of the University of Würzburg and the Interdisciplinary Center for Clinical Research (IZKF) of the University Hospital Würzburg (UKW). The Core Unit Systems Medicine provides in particular the Würzburg scientists with the technology and bioinformatic support for massive parallel sequencing of RNA and DNA for biomedical research. In addition, the Core Unit Systems Medicine works with external partners, such as the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI) or other universities.
The Core Unit is listed in the RIsources Database of the DFG. The listing in RIsources simplifies the application for funding for the use of core unit services within the framework of DFG funding applications.
